The White Goose
Headed up by lead singer Craig Hutton, who works as a youthwoker in Hadleigh, The White Goose are a faith fuelled band creating driven rock music with a passion “to see lives touched, valued and inspired”.
Craig told me that the band “believe in sharing the message of Christ in a way that isn't overly ‘Christian’” and they describe themselves on their website as “a traveling posse of sorts who share the grace and love of Jesus Christ”.
In Celtic Christianity The White Goose is a symbol for The Holy Spirit, depicted at unpredictable, untamed and not easily cornered yet at the same time beautiful and nurturing. I couldn't think of a more perfect analogy for the music The White Goose make. Their songs are stirring, powerful and challenging, whilst also encouraging and affirming.
As well as premiering live and recording their own music, the band also support the work of ‘Stella’s Voice’ a charity with a mission to confront and tackle the evil of human trafficking head on. To show their support they joined with other artists through the work of 180 Media to create an album for the organisation.
They are managed by UCB Radio presenter Robbie Frawley who the band say continues to push them in all areas of their music.
The band have three albums available and are heading to Ireland in April on the Enough is Enough tour. You can connect with them on Facebook and YouTube, all the info is on their website www.whitegooseposse.org
God is truly doing some exciting things through music in our area!
